Fundraiser at The Shakespeare Totterdown Aug 28 Written By Nick Bloor On the 28th of August 2021, The Shakespeare Pub Totterdown hosted a family friendly fundraising and awareness day for Reparations Bristol. We had a fun time of seeing old faces making new friends in a wonderful atmosphere. The purpose was predominately to raise awareness of what we wanting to do, and enable people to help with this vision as well as raising some money to help with this.We like to thank the Shakespeare Totterdown for allowing us to use their premises, the support of all their staff, as well as their efforts to help raise funds too. Without their help and positive energy, it wouldn’t have been as successful as it was. Also shout outs to Liam Duggan and Andy Scholes who DJ’d later on that day and into the evening. They skilfully provided the tunes and the dance floor was soon full of people enjoying the Caribbean grove. The new merchandise also went down well. You can still buy these via our shop in this website. As well as the T-shirts, Hoddies, we now sell Shopping Bags. So if you want to shop in style, and use less plastics, order one here.We would also like to thank everybody who came to the fundraiser and awareness day. Without you and your support we wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals. Which is to make Bristol a better place for those who need a hand. Also, if you didn’t manage to make it, we are planning on doing it again in the near future so watch this space. Meanwhile, if you would like to make a donation, any help would be appreciated.
